ERNEST FRAZIER
ADA-Services for Ernest Reubin Frazier, 64, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at High Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Osborne Roberts officiating. Burial follows at High Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Frazier died on Monday, December 21, 2009, at a Shawnee hospital. He was born January 20, 1945, in Richmond, California, to Reubin and Murial Bell Frazier. He attended school in California and New Mexico before moving to Oklahoma. He attended Stonewall High School and Haskell Institute. He worked as a welder in California, as a mechanic at Solo Cup Company in Ada, and later as a cook at Carl Albert Hospital for 24 years, moving back to the Ada area permanently in 1976. He was affiliated with High Hill Baptist Church.
He married Lou Alexander on April 3, 1965, in Lula.
Survivors include a son, Leonard Frazier, Ada; five sisters, Peggy Dansby, Ada; Elaine Whelchel, Ada; Frances Fortner, Lula; Gail Glase, Stonewall; and Sharon Kendrick, Ada; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reubin and Murial Frazier, and a son, Ernest Reubin Frazier Jr.
Bearers are Steven Alexander, Dusty Miller, Tony Whelchel, Bruce Dansby, Tim Glase and Alan Barnes. Honorary bearers are Mike Allman, Henry Yargee and Wesley Tarlashaw.
