Eric Thys

Graveside services for Eric Shon Thys, led by Rev. Tommy Brill will be held Friday, March 4, 2022, at Ada Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:30 PM.

Eric was born October 2, 1967, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He passed away on February 28, 2022, in his hometown of Ada, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Ada High School in 1985 where he was involved in band.

He pursued his lifetime ambition to become a truck driver. He worked for several different companies driving over the road transportation for years.

He was a member of Oak Avenue Baptist church in Ada his entire life.

He is survived by his parents Jay Dee and Aundria Thys of Ada, daughter Gillian Thys of  Bryan, Texas, Sister Kandi Malphrus and husband David of Wellston, Oklahoma and nephews Andrew and Simon Malphrus as well as many other family members and dear friends.
