MANN WYNN
ADA-Services for Emmitt Milford "Mann" Wynn, 85, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, Rev. Dalton Young will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakman Cemetery.
Mr. Wynn died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at a Norman hospital. He was born April 16, 1926 in Texana, Oklahoma to Middleton Reeves and Lou Ella Pound Wynn. He attended Texana schools.
He married Beaulah Nunnally. She preceded him in death in August 30, 1964. He later married Betty Walker Guinn on March 19, 1965 in Francis, Oklahoma. Mr. Wynn was a chef and butcher at East Central University, retiring in 1986 after over 20 years of service. Previously, he worked in the oilfield industry. Mr. Wynn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ada.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Wynn, of the home; his children, Hubert Lee Wynn and his wife Jeannie of Choctaw, Sharon Kay Wiser of Noble, Emmitt Wynn of Oklahoma City, Regina Ann Welch and her husband Eddie of Collinsville, OK, and Rodney Guinn and his wife Kathy of Divide, CO; one sister, Rubye Buckelew of Ft. Gibson, OK; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Milford Wynn, Virgil Wynn, Pud Wynn, and Jr. Wynn; and six sisters, Lillian Terrell, Thelma Stephenson, Velma Bobbitt, Edith Blaylock, Genevieve Greer, and Goldie Mae Love.
