EMMA JONES
ADA-Graveside services for Emma Amanda Jones, 92, Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Randy Golden will officiate.
Mrs. Jones died Saturday, November 01, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was born January 17, 1916 at Guymon, Oklahoma, to Robert Henry and Mary Elizabeth Thompson Raymer. She came to the Ada area in the late 1930's from Guymon, OK.
She married J.B. "Son" Jones on June 18, 1938. He preceded her in death on October 4, 1999 in Ada. She was a homemaker and loved to crochet. She was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a nephew, whom she reared, Gene Steele and wife Loretta, Ada; two grand daughters, Beverly Garner and husband Steve, Columbus, MS, and Barbara Riddle and husband Mark, Borger, TX; five great grandchildren, Stephanie Bradley and husband Jason, Leesberg, VA, Amanda Williams and husband Trey, Columbus, MS, Luke Riddle, Plainview, TX, Carlie Riddle, Waco, TX, and Johnathan Riddle, Borger, TX; and one great-great granddaughter, Amanda Caroline Williams, Columbus, MS; and several nieces and nephews.
