ELWOOD JOHNSON
ADA-Services for Elwood "Dag" Johnson, 76, of Ada, were 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jerry Wells officiated. Burial followed at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.
Mr. Johnson died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at his home. He was born June 22, 1936 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to John Curtis and Laura Gertrude Davis Johnson. He attended Roff schools.
He married Margaret Sue Richardson on October 31, 1963. She preceded him in death on August 14, 2007. Mr. Johnson was a foreman for Midcontinent Glass and Sand Company in Roff, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Roff Baptist Church and had served in the National Guard.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane Graham and her husband Roger of Konawa; 2 grandchildren, Shannon Hopper and Kevin Hopper, both of Ada; five great grandsons, Joseph Hopper, Tyler Hopper, Kaleb Hopper, Thomas Hopper and Tandon Hopper; and other relatives and friends.
Bearers were James Cornell, Peyton York, Ed Burris, Roger Graham; and his grandsons, Kevin Hopper and Shannon Hopper.
