TED BACON
ROFF-Memorial services for Elmer Theodore "Ted" Bacon, 61, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Lightning Ridge Baptist Church, Rev. Roger McMahon will officiate.
Mr. Bacon died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at a local hospital. He was born March 5, 1947 at Vinita, Oklahoma to Kenneth Hugh and Laura Bea Swift Bacon. He attended Ketchum schools and small engine repair school. He moved to Roff about 25 years ago from Pontotoc.
He married Rita Carol Ivie December 23, 1968 at Vinita, Oklahoma. Mr. Bacon was a plant operator for Aggregates. He was of the Baptist faith and had served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Bacon, of the home; three sons, Stephen Bacon and wife Marcie, Holdenville, David Bacon and wife Jennifer, Roff, and Robert Bacon and wife Amber, Stratford; ten grandchildren, Ryanne Nicole Bacon, Kelsie Mikala Myers, Sebastian Kyle Bacon, Kylie Marie Inez Bacon, Dylan Mickele Bacon, Jacob Lane Bacon, Halley Madison, Bacon, Christian Shadoe Harrison, Angelica Shade Harrison, and Hailey Chantel Hurrelbrink; three sisters, Ella Patricia Cook, Eurica, CA, Laura Jane Morrow and husband Ralph, Roff, and Sarah Lou Morgan and husband Lenny, Casseville, MO; two brothers, Lawrence Wayne Bacon, Roff, and Ronald David Bacon, Roff; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Vea Valette "Vickey" Bradley, and a brother, John Kenneth Bacon.
