ELLIS JULIAN

ADA-Services for Ellis Lee Julian, 82, Ada, are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd Kaiser will officiate. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.

Mr. Julian died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at a local nursing home. He was born April 5, 1926 at Atwood, Oklahoma to Tom and Pearl Lea Brandon Julian. He attended Atwood schools and moved to Ada in the early 1960's.

He married Corene Rebecca Wilkinson on February 29, 1944. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2007. Mr. Julian was a foreman for C and L Well Service, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Southwest Church of Christ and had served in the U. S. Army. He was a Prisoner of War for three months in France and Germany.

Survivors include a sister, Velma Trimmer, Bakersfield, California; four grandchildren, David Stewart and wife Debra, Perry, Georgia, Richard Stewart and wife Aliceson, Rock Springs, Wyoming, Mark Owens and wife Jennifer, Phoenix, Arizona, and Mike Owens, Phoenix, Arizona; ten great grandchildren, Andrew Stewart, Ashley Stewart, Alex Stewart, Richard Stewart, Brendon Owens, Matthew Owens, Mikala Owens, Jaymi Stewart, John Brown and Michael Watson; a great great granddaughter, Meya Brookins; and a son-in-law, Lyndell Owens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two daughters, Karen Jackson and Charlotte Owens, a son, Ricky Julian; and eleven siblings.

Bearers will be Lyndell Owens, Mike Owens, Mark Owens, Richard Stewart, Andrew Stewart and Alex Stewart.
