Laurie Cook was born Nov. 4th, 1959 in Ada, OK. She left this Earth July 8th, 2022 into the loving arms of her savior.

Laurie was known for her quick wit, laughter, tender heart, and a fierce love for her family. Laurie was well-suited to work in health care, where her compassion for others was put into action on a daily basis. Her strong work ethic and ability to connect with the patients she served made her an asset to her coworkers and patients.

Laurie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Sarah Dew; W.A. and Ruth Timmons; and O'Neal Langston; as well as by her father Ed Dew, and her stepfather Royle Ellis, whom she adored. She is survived by her mother Linelle Ellis; sons Jordan James and Brandon Cook and their families; brothers, Clarke Ellis, Steve Ellis, Darrick Ellis, and their families; along with a host of friends and family whom she loved dearly, especially her four grandchildren.
