Elizabeth (Betty) Chick

Services for Elizabeth Jean (Betty) Chick, 88, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Chick passed away suddenly and peacefully Saturday, March 11, 2017 at her home. She was born December 31, 1928 in Ada to Elmo D. and Lois Mitchell Morris. She lived in this area all her life.

She married Robert G. Chick. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Chick was a homemaker. She had also been employed at Braum's, the McAlester Ammunition Depot, and she had been a companion sitter. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Allen, a member of the Order of Easter Star in Allen, and an Elder for the Arkansas Cherokee on the Arkansas River Tribe.

Survivors include a son, Morris Chiles of Allen; three daughters, Sarah Chiles Harrison of Ada, Sandra Allred of Paoli and Josie Warren of Milton, FL; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia Harbin.

Bearers will be Tyler Burnett, Cody Burnett, Kyle Murry, Justin Myers, Scott Fowler, Michael Coil, and Brian Wronko.
