Mrs. Sundquist peacefully passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at an Ada hospital. She was born July 7, 1926 in Bay City, Michigan to George and Hazel Atwood Roese.
She married Mike Sundquist June 7, 1947. He preceded her in death September 2, 2001. During their 50 years of marriage, they experienced a lifetime full of laughter and adventures, ranging from family camping trips to travelling by car cross-country to Alaska.

After retiring, you could find her volunteering at the local hospital's gift shop. Not only did she enjoy giving her time to others, she also found happiness in many hobbies. Her cooking skills were something to be praised, and you could find her anywhere from sewing her children's clothing to creating comforting quilts for those she loved.
Elaine was a member of Central Church of Christ for many years.
She and her husband had two children together, Diane and Greg Sundquist. Together they watched their family grow.
Elaine is survived by her two children, Greg Sundquist and wife Shirley, and Diane Battles; her grandchildren, Nathan Smith and wife Kacey, David Smith and girlfriend, Jean Bruer, Jonathan Sundquist, Mike Sundquist, and Esther Caldwell; and several great-grandchildren, Tristin, Jordan, Tyler, Koi, Kade and Emery.
