ED HUDDLESTON
ADA-Memorial services for Edwin Dale "Ed" Huddleston 55, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Ada, Rev. John Haynes will officiate.
Mr. Huddleston died suddenly Sunday, July 3, 2011 at his home. He was born August 17, 1955 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Bob and Alba Jones Huddleston. He and his family moved to Ada when he was 7 years old and he remained in this area the rest of his life. He graduated from Ada High School.
He spent his entire career working in television, beginning at KTEN in 1973. At the time of his death, he was Regional Production Manager for Cable One. He was a member of the Ada First Baptist Church and served for many years on the Ada City School Foundation.
Survivors include his mother, Alba C. Little of Norman; a son, Aaron Huddleston and his wife Cassie, of Ada; a daughter, Lauren Huddleston of Tishomingo; a granddaughter, Anabella Onyegam of Madill; his partner, LaDonna Halverson; two sisters, Carolyn Hathcote and her husband Tom of McAlester and Margaret Morris and her husband Larry of Norman; a niece, Stacy Morris of Oklahoma City; and two nephews, Scott Morris and wife Nichole of Norman and Travis Hathcote of Guymon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Huddleston; and his grandparents, Presley and Alma Jones and Bob and Alice Huddleston.
