EDWARD LOWE

Ada- Services for Edward Carl Lowe, 42, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Jimmy Horath and Mickey Hollars will officiate. Burial will follow at 5 Mile Cemetery. The family will be receiving family and friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Lowe died Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at a local hospital. He was born December 6, 1971 to Edwin Lee Lowe and Juanita Ellis in Ada. He was raised by his grandparents, Chesley and Maggie Madden and later by his father and step-mother JoAnn Lowe. He attended Homer and graduated from Byng High School in 1990.
He married Melanie Vick on December 10, 1991. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Olney Baptist Church and Ada Baptist Temple. Mr. Lowe worked for his father at the Ed Lowe Auto Salvage, Sundowners, was a member of the local #798 as a welder's helper on pipelines and as a supervisor for many years at Solo Cup Company. He was recently employed with Superior Fabrication, Inc. He also was a volunteer for Chickasaw Nation Headstart.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie of the home; six daughters, Bernice Chaney and husband Brennan of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Melinah Lowe of Ada, Mallory Lowe, Annika Lowe, Errika Lowe and Ayva Lowe all of the home; one son, Naman Lowe of the home; one grandchild, Isis Chaney; two step-brothers, Jody Rowland and Johnny Rowland both of Ada; two step-sisters, Joan Rowland and Joy Rowland both of Allen; sister-in-law, Nancy Pierce of Pauls Valley; two brothers-in-law, Wade Vick of Ada and Tyrel Vick of Olney; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Lowe; Biological mother, Juanita Lowe;step- mother, JoAnn Lowe and step-sister Dianna Grigsby.
Bearers will be Wade Vick, Tyrel Vick, Michael Pierce, Brennan Chaney, Jody Rowland and Johnny Rowland Jr. Honorary bearers will be Wayne Bean, Kaelin Gastineau and Johnny Ray Rowland, Sr.
