Edna Simmons

Edna Marie Simmons, a resident of Ada, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the age of 63. She was born in Ada on June 13, 1963, to Joe Tom Allen and Rosa Lee (Fountain) Allen.

Edna spent her career serving her community as a receptionist for the Chamber of Commerce. Known for her welcoming spirit and dedication, she brought warmth and professionalism to everyone she encountered throughout her working years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Simmons, of the home, as well as her daughter Rosa Pruitt and her husband David.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Marion Allen and Ronald Joe Allen; and cousin, Tammy Castillo.

A Celebration of Life will be planned by the family for a later date.
