ALLEN-Services for Edna Lucille Self, 100, Allen, are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Paul Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Self died Friday, March 13, 2009 at an Allen nursing home. She was born June 20, 1908 at Bristow, Oklahoma to William Riley and Sarah Ellen Hendricks Baker.
She married Amon Self on January 31, 1925. He died August 6, 1990. Mrs. Self was a homemaker and a member of the Allen Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include three sons, Doyle Self and wife Norma, Wagoner, Connie Self, Showlow, AZ, and Gary Self and wife Martha, Slater, MO; two daughters, Reva Dockrey, Allen, and Deloris Pryor and husband Bob, Ft. Worth, TX; one brother, Myrle Baker, Midwest City; nine grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 20 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Walker and a granddaughter, Sharon Farmer.
Bearers will be her grandsons, Mike Self, Jerry Self, Larry Self, Kenny Brewer, Phil Burk, and Jack Tyler.
