RED KIFER
ASHER-Services for Edmond Lee "Red" Kifer, 77, Asher, are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home chapel, Bill Burns will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Kifer died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at an Ada hospital. He was born Feb. 11, 1934, to Roy and Dovie Owens Kifer near Stonewall. He attended Stonewall and Ada schools and was a retired truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Kifer and Myra Cole were married March 1, 1956.
He is survived by his wife, Myra, of the home; two sons, David Kifer and wife Sherry, Arkanas, and James Kifer, Ahser; his sister, Pat Harris, Stillwater; his brother, Ricky Leader, Cushing; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Harold Wade Kifer and Roy Edmond Kifer.
