ADA-Memorial services for Edith Mary Smith, 81, Ada, are 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Ada Nazarene Church, Rev. Jim Knight will officiate.
Mrs. Smith died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at a local nursing home. She was born April 1, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio to George and Lila Bell Enyart Connor. She attended Bedford grade school and graduated from Bedford High School, Lambertville, Michigan in 1948. She moved to the Ada area in 1992 from Lambertville, Michigan.
She married Stanton Edward Smith on April 7, 1949. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2010 in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Smith was the Corporate Librarian for Champion Spark Plug Company in Toledo, Ohio.
Survivors include two sons, Bruce K. Smith and his wife, Nelda Ray Smith of Las Vegas, NV, and Charles E. Smith and his wife Kathy Smith of Temecula, CA; two granddaughters, Heather M. Smith and Kristen L. Smith; and two grandsons, Peter Smith and Matthew Smith.
