ADA-Services for Edith Faye Silva, 64, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Willie Alexander and Bill Alexander will officiate. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery near Kullihoma. A Wake service will be held 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home,
Ms. Silva died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born April 30, 1949 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Louise Walker. She attended Carter Seminary. She married Armando Silva in 1982. Ms. Silva was a claims specialist for E. D. S. (Electronic Data Systems), retiring 6 years ago. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Pilar Faye Silva and Richenda Silva, both of Oklahoma City; three sons, Michael Markcum, Ada, Richard Markcum, Oklahoma City, and Larry Dewayne Markcum of Ada; her mother, Louise Walker Marrs, Connerville; one brother, Eugene Marrs, Jr., Allen; and 9 grandchildren, Brandon Markcum, Destiny Markcum, Aaron Markcum, Tiara Markcum, Richard Markcum Jr., Autumn Markcum, Ryan Markcum, Hunter Silva, and Rylan Silva-Hathaway.
Bearers will be Herman Walker, Wordly Walker, Thurman Walker, Rickey Walker, William Willis and Carlin Thompson. Honorary bearers will be Dennis Walker and Ronald Walker.
