VONDA DEES
ADA-Services for Edith Vonda Dees, 78, Ada are 11 a.m. Monday at Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, Rev. Frank Trent officiating. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Dees died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at an Ada hospital. She was born Aug. 13, 1931, near Ada to Leroy and Edith Mae Hughes McDaniel. She attended Vanoss schools and was a homemaker. Mrs. Dees was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She married Orlan H. Dees on Oct. 9, 1948.
Survivors include her husband, Orlan, of the home; one daughter, Linda Mosley and husband Ronnie, Ada; two grandsons, Darrel Teel and friend Laura Horning, and Jason Mosley and wife Jenny, all of Ada; one sister, Lawana Cannon, Ada; two brothers, Alvis McDaniel, Ada, and Dennis and wife Deloris McDaniel, Oklahoma City; two granddaughters, Tina Vanlandingham, Stratford, and Angela Mosley, Oklahoma City; nine great-grandchildren, Maci Teel, Meriah Teel, Riley Mosley, Cason Mosley, all of Ada, Amanda Davis and husband Zack, Seminole, Adam Vanlandingham and Alix Vanlandingham, both of Stratford, and Christopher Riley and Christina Riley, both of Oklahoma City; one great-great-grandchild, Jaxson Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Phnaughn Deaton.
Nephews will serve as bearers.
