OKLAHOMA CITY-Services for Eddie Calvin Price, 72, Oklahoma City, formerly of the Francis area are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne West will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis.
Mr. Price died Monday, September 5, 2011 at his home. He was born December 16, 1938 in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma to Wesley and Mildred West Price. He attended grade school in Francis and graduated from Francis High School. He also attended Seminole Junior College.
He married TaNam (Kim). She preceded him in death. Mr. Price served in the U. S. Army from 1960 until retiring in 1979 as a First Sergeant. He later was employed with Lucent Technologies. Mr. Price was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Jeffrey Neal Price of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Price of Davenport, Iowa; two granddaughters, Heather and Megan; two great granddaughters; and a sister and best friend, Patsy Franklin of Shawnee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Mildred West Price; a brother, Wesley Neal Price; and a brother-in-law, Charles Franklin.
Bearers will be Tom Bingham, Kenneth West, Darrell Price, Keith Kerr, Robert Robinson and Jerry Robinson. Honorary bearers will be Jeff Price and Cody Franklin.
