EDDIE PARKER
TUPELO-Services for Eddie Lee Parker, 38, Tupelo, are 1 p.m. Monday at Stonewall Baptist Church, D. E. Romines officiating.
Mr. Parker was born Dec. 23, 1971, to James and Betty Hyatt Parker, at Ada. He died Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Coalgate. He attended grade school in Ada and graduated from Tupelo High School. Mr. Parker owned and operated a dirt contracting company and was a Tupelo police officer. He served on the Tupelo School board and was affiliated with the Baptist church.
Mr. Parker and Melesa Canida were married June 28, 1997, at Tupelo.
He is survived by his wife, Melesa, of the home; two daughters, McKenzie Mae Parker and Kristyn Nickole Parker, of the home; one son, Kolton James Parker, of the home; his parents, James and Judy Parker, Coalgate, and the late Betty Parker; four brothers, James Wylie Parker, Tupelo, Clark Edward Parker, Coalgate, Mark Andy Parker and wife Shannon, Sherman, Texas, Justin Troy Parker and wife Meaghan, Tupelo; three sisters, Sheila Roberson and husband David, Tupelo, Sheri Wilson and husband Bob, Ada, and Marcy Williams, and husband Mike, Ada; eight nieces; and nine nephews.
Bearers are Marc Chamberlain, Steve Jett, Danny Johnson, Tommy Griffin, Tony Watson and John D'aguanno. Honorary bearers are C & D Dozer employees, Tupelo Police Officers and Coal County Sheriff's Department and Deputies.
