EDDIE LOVELIS
STONEWALL-Services for Eddie Ray Lovelis, 65, of Stonewall are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Richard Dickerson will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall.
Mr. Lovelis died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born December 15, 1946 in Ada, Oklahoma to W. A. and Allie Cody Byrd Lovelis. He graduated from high school in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
He married Terri Lynne Roberts on July 5, 1986 in Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Lovelis owned and operated Lovelis Trucking, and he and his brother owned Lovelis Brothers Racing.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Lovelis, of the home; three daughters, Syrena Moreland and husband Brandon of Tishomingo, Desirae Lovelis and Aubrie Lovelis, both of the home; a son, Greg Lovelis and wife Buffy of Stonewall; three grandchildren, Rhys Moreland, Aidyn Moreland and Carsyn Lovelis; two brothers, Wendell Lovelis and wife Norma of Carlsbad, NM, and Bobby Lovelis and wife Nikki of Euless, TX; a sister, Sharon Crouch of Bethany, OK; and other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Eva Marie Moreland.
Bearers will be Dewey Madden, Bobby Lovelis, Andy Anderson, Terry Welch, Bruce Cate, Don Sexton and Rodney Harlin. Honorary bearers will be Jack Blair and Alan Ogles.
