Douglas Meashintubby

Memorial services for Douglas Ervin Meashintubby, 58, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Arthur Carpitcher will officiate.

Mr. Meashintubby passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at his home. He was born May 3, 1958 at Talihina to Joseph and Nellie Killer Meashintubby. He graduated from Calvin High School and moved to Ada in 1983.

He married Debra Mae Abosso December 20, 1982. Mr. Meashintubby was a home health care provider.

Survivors include his wife, Debra, of the home; a son, Sky Meashintubby of Knob Noster, MO; daughter, Amanda Davis, Kilgore, TX; two step-sons, Chris Lawrence and Mike Lawrence, both of Ada; two sisters, Glenda Carpitcher of Konawa and Vicky Pettigrew of Ada; and two brothers, Robert Meashintubby and Ken Meashintubby both of Ada.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Nellie and Joseph Meashintubby; sister, Lynda Simmer; brother, Matthew Meashintubby; a grandson, Preston Lawrence; grandparents, John and Sallie Harjo and Abro Meashintubby; and great-grandmother, Addie Hickory.
