Dortha Clark
ADA- Services for Dortha Fern Clark, 80, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Rev. Ryan Humble will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clark died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at a local hospital. She was born December 11, 1931 in Holdenville, OK to Alfred Leon "Jim" Martin and Enola Adkins Martin.
She married E. J. Clark on June 18, 1949. He preceded her in death May 28, 2011. She was a longtime active member of First Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Clark had been employed as a sales associate for JC Penney, The Clothes Corner, and Smart Shop.
Survivors include a daughter, Dayna Grissom and husband Jr. of Ada; a son, Terry Clark and wife Jawana of Ada; 4 grandsons, Jayson Clark, Jeremy Clark, Chad Grissom, Scott Grissom; one grand-daughter Tracy Van Hooser; 4 great grandsons and 4 great grand-daughters; one brother, Greg Martin and wife Michele of Grove, Ok; and 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Bearers will be Jayson Clark, Jeremy Clark, Chad Grissom, Scott Grissom, James Presley, and Bud Estes. Honorary bearers are Wayne Rodgers, Gene Myers, James Mouser, and Earl Collings.
