Sandy Gay passed away on June 17, 2016 at her home in Jesse, OK.. Sandy was born January 9, 1948 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was the oldest of three children. Sandy's early childhood years were spent growing up in the Oklahoma City area. She attended elementary school through the third grade before moving to Big Spring, TX. as a result of her father being transferred to the local Air Force Base. She completed her schooling, graduating from Big Spring High School in 1966. During her high school years Sandy and her sister became well known throughout the area for their baton twirling. The sisters competed throughout the nation with a drill team located out of Lubbock, TX. Sandy won numerous state awards for her extraordinary twirling ability.

Later on, Sandy relocated with her family to Washington state where she became a flight attendant for Western Airlines. It is there in Oklahoma City that Sandy met the love of her life, T.R.. Sandy and T.R. eventually married and relocated to Florida where she worked as the office administrator for a private law firm before again returning to Oklahoma 18 years later.
Sandy loved preparing new recipes, watching wildlife on their ranch, enjoyed equestrian activities and most of all loved spending precious time with family and friends. Her most cherished moments was time spent with her grandsons. Additionally, it was also not uncommon for her to spend a few minutes telling family and friends "How the cow ate the cabbage". Sandy never met a stranger and all who knew her immediately fell in love with her positive energy and beautiful smile. Most would say her laugh could be heard and identified a mile away.
