DOROTHY MILLER
ADA-Services for Dorothy Mae Miller, 90, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve DeShazo will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller died Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at a local nursing home. She was born August 28, 1918 at Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Frank Albert and Addie Belle Grove Childers. She attended Sasakwa and Friendship schools and graduated from Vamoosa High School.
She married Johnnie Dean Miller September 3, 1940. He died August 21, 1986. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Miller and wife Rozetta, Ada, and Kenneth Miller and wife Marsha, Roff; one daughter, Wilma Roberts, Ada; one brother, Leroy Childers, Ada; one sister, Clara White, Ada; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Ronnie Miller on June 15, 1977, a son-in-law, Tommy Roberts on February 20, 2009 and a granddaughter Rhonda Roberts in September of 2003, a sister, Mabel Fleischer and brothers, John Frank Childers, and Floyd Childers.
Bearers will be Ted Glover, Daniel Gore, Lester Brown, Ronnie Scheets, Bobby Keenom, Blane Boyer and John Melson.
