Services for Dorothy May Lacher, 71, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Larry Hawkins will officiate.

Ms. Lacher passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at a local nursing home. She was born September 9, 1946 at Ada to Noah and Maybell Culberson Lacher. She graduated from Sequoyah Indian Boarding School and attended a Vo-Tech in Texas for Surgical Technician training.

Ms. Lacher was a checker at Wal-Mart until her retirement. She was a member of Blue Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Ben Lyda of Ada; a daughter, Lynn Lyda of Ada; one sister, Dottie Lyda of Ada; and a brother, Tommy Lacher of Pampa, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, David Lacher; and a grandmother, Zora Nelson.

Honorary bearers will be Kendall Conlee, Kris Conlee, Kevin Conlee, Jake Ricker, Stephen McPherson and Jerry Bynum.
