ADA-Graveside services for Dorothy Marie Green, 93, of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. David Gray will officiate.
Mrs. Green died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at a local hospital. She was born September 30, 1919 at Winfield, Kansas to Elisha M. and Hazel Pearl Henderson Cheatham. She graduated from Enid High School in 1937.
She married Clifton D. Green on December 25, 1938 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1981. Mrs. Green was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She moved back to Ada in July 1977 from Sapulpa. She had lived in Sapulpa for 26 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn R. Smith of Ada; and her nieces and nephews, Jeri Bradley and James Green of Ada; Jeanie Asbury, Oklahoma City; Cindy Hess, Jenks; Dennis Montgomery, Sapulpa; Bo Montgomery, Larkspur, CO and Judy Lapinski of Houston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Bill Green in 1994; and a sister, Juanita Montgomery in 2010.
