DOROTHY MCGEE
ADA-Services for Dorothy "Dot" Marie Cravens Schultz McGee, 80, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Crosspointe Church, Revs. Earl Hood and Shawn Wiebers will officiate. Burial will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. McGee died Monday, May 7, 2012 at a local hospital. She was born December 24, 1931 in Muenster, Texas to Walter and Nannie Clark Cravens.
She married Tom Schultz. He preceded her in death in 1995. She later married Roy McGee. He preceded her in death in 2009. Mrs. McGee was a Nurse's Aide for Valley View Regional Hospital retiring in 1993 after 20 years of service. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Tommy Schultz and his wife Brenda of Ada; a daughter, Connie Chesney of Indiana; five grandchildren, Stacy Schultz and Ryan Schultz, both of Ada, and Aimee Hamilton, Jessica Chesney and Jeremy Chesney, all of Indiana; 1 great grandchild, Callie Hamilton of Indiana; two brothers, Kenneth Cravens of Gainesville, TX, and Bobby Cravens of Sulphur; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Ricky Schultz.
Bearers will be her grandchildren, Jeremy Chesney, Ryan Schultz, Stacy Schultz and Jessica Chesney; and Brad Gipson and Clarence Schultz. Honorary bearers will be her granddaughter, Aimee Hamilton; and great granddaughter, Callie Hamilton.
