Charlene Ashley

Services for Doris Charlene Ashley, 87, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, David Dirrim will officiate.  Burial will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery at 2:00 p.m Thursday.

Ms. Ashley passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 in Ada.  She was born September 4, 1933 in Checotah, OK to Vernon and Jewel Martin Ashley.  She attended Okmulgee Tech.

She was an executive secretary for a drilling company.

Survivors include a sister, Joan Lowe and husband Hobert; brother, Raymond Ashley; 1 nephew, Brent Lowe and wife Diana; 2 nieces, Michelle Emmert and husband Wade and Shawn Ashley; great nephews, Walker and Will Emmert, Tayler Lowe, Matthew Lowe and wife Elizabeth; great nieces, Melissa and husband Richard Duncan and Hannah Lowe and Great-great nephews Mason Deanda and Quinn Duncan.

Bearers will be Walker Emmert, Will Emmert, Tayler Lowe, and Matthew Lowe.
