DORA CROSS
ADA-Graveside services for Dora Faye Cross, 76, Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Pontotoc Cemetery in Pontotoc, Oklahoma, Ron Carrell will officiate.
Mrs. Cross died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born June 6, 1931 at Pontotoc, Oklahoma to Alec and Myrtle Boatright Snoddy. She attended Jesse and Stonewall schools. She was a longtime resident of Ada and Centrahoma.
Mrs. Cross was a retired beautician and health care provider and affiliated with the Pentecostal church.
Survivors include her children, Jackie Chapman, Ada, and Billy Lane and wife Vonda, Ada; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, her twin, Nora Chism, Norman, and Dorothy Nicholason, Colorado; her longtime companion, Wiley Webster, of Ada, and his children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edgar Cross, a son-in-law, Mac Chapman, and two brothers, J. L. Snoddy and Herman Snoddy.
Bearers will be Kevin Chapman, Ritchie Frazier, Beau Lane, Paul Cross, Woody Burns Webster, Kevin Pinley, and Donnie Higginbotham. Honorary bearers will be Jacob Frazier and Donnie Higginbothamm, III.
