Services for Donald "Donnie" Alford, 66, of Sasakwa, are 2:00 Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. David Gray will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Donnie passed peacefully on March 18, 2023 at his home in Sasakwa, surrounded by loved ones.  He was born January 12, 1957 in Wewoka, OK to Eugene "Dunnie" and Irvena Jo "Tootles" Alford.

He attended Compton Elementary School until the 5 ^th grade.  He moved with his family to Ada where he graduated in 1975 from Ada Highschool.

He met the love of his life Leslie, and together they loved and raised three children.  Donnie lived a full life and devoted his time to his family and was best known as PaPa.

He worked for the Chickasaw Nation for 35 years and was proud of his Chickasaw Heritage.

Survivors include his wife, Leslie of Sasakwa; son, Miles Alford and wife Marci of Sasakwa; daughter, Holly Windle and husband Bryan of Allen, OK; brother, Danny Alford of Sulphur, OK; eight grandchildren, Haven Harrod, Ryzer Foster, Zane Harrison, Molly Alford, River Alford, Jaislyn, Jayden and Reid Gonzalez; along with many nieces and nephews.

Previously departed loved ones include his parents; sister, Diane Gillum; daughter, Megan Harrod and his best buddy, "Ricky".

Bearers will be Jesse Howard, Jared Norman, Jon Cross, Thad Gillum, Tee Gillum and Scott Elmore.  Honorary bearers will be David Norman, David Abbott and Rudy Rue.
