Donna Kay Shico

09/18/65 – 4/23/20

Donna Kay Shico was born September 18, 1965 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha, OK to Dorotha June Ramsey and Donald Ray Shico. Donna who referred to herself as "Kay" attended preschool in Carmi, Illinois. However, she received most of her education at Pauls Valley State School in Pauls Valley, OK. Donna loved working at different sheltered workshops over the years detailing cars, folding towels, and sorting hangers. Donna loved all animals and people. She never met a stranger. Anyone who took the time to talk about or share their family with her would become her family. Thereafter, she would remember each of their names and inquire after them. She was loving and cheerful by nature, greeting all with a smile. She had a special knack for making those having a bad day, forget their trials. She helped all remember how to play and stay in touch with their inner child. She taught others how to open their heart, love fully and without reservation and how to fully enjoy the moment. Donna loved her sister, Anna Gregory, the most. She loved playing her Nintendo games and putting together puzzles. She enjoyed watching active sports of any kind. She loved watching others run and move their bodies in ways that were not accessible to her.

Donna laid aside her body and transitioned to her True Form on 4/23/20. Donna joins a circle of strong women who surrounded her during their lives including but not limited to her Mother, Maternal Grandmother, Aunt Mona and Aunt Carolyn. She is now privy to the greatest love and acceptance of existence. She has access to all the knowledge and wisdom that there is and she is now free to roam and explore without the constrictions of time, space, gravity or body limitations.

Donna's tutelage will greatly missed. Fly free my Darling Girl!

The Memorial Service will be scheduled and announced by Criswell Funeral Home in Ada, OK once the Quarantine is lifted.
