DONNA BATES
ADA-Memorial services for Donna Bates, 50, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. A Fellowship for friends and family will follow the service at the Chickasaw Community Center.
Ms. Bates died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born May 5, 1960 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to Allen Emory and Serena Ann Neeley DeWitt. She attended Byng grade school and Stonewall High School. She also attended the Pontotoc Vo-Tech.
Ms. Bates was a Cook and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Raeann Glenn and her husband Aaron Dale, Anna, Texas and Tracy Lenora Bryant and her husband Andrew, Ada; two sons, Patrick Scot Bates, Muskogee and Brian Edward Hopkins, Ada; a grandchild, Jayden Hunter Glenn, Anna, TX; her mother, Serena Ann Bounds, Ada; her step-father, Steven Sweet; three sisters, Brenda Sue DeWitt, Ada, Valerie Ann DeWitt, Konawa, and Pamela Joyce DeWitt, Norman; one brother, Donald Wayne DeWitt, Ada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Emory DeWitt of Phoenix, Arizona; and two sisters, Rebecca Lee Gould and Betty Joettinman.
