Services for Donald J. Woods, 85, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery, Clarita, Oklahoma.

Mr. Woods died Thursday, September 16, 2021 at his home. He was born March 29, 1936 to John and Pick Morris Woods. He graduated from Clarita High School.

He married Maxine Hefley on April 14, 1957 in Ada.  Mr. Woods served in the National Guard from September 1954 until January 1956, in the U. S. Navy from January 1956 until December 1957.  He attended the Barber College in Oklahoma City and barbered here for 62 years, was a cattle farmer and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine, of the home; a daughter, LaDonna Bennett and husband Jimmy; two sons, John Woods and wife Brandy and David Woods; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Tisha Bowerman and husband Fred; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jimmy Keith Woods; father and mother-in-law, Hugh and Mettie Hefley; and a brother-in-law, Ronald Hefley.
