Donald Thurman

Donald Ray Thurman, 78, of Ada, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at an Ada hospital. He was born July 26, 1940 at Ada to Clarence and Bertha Teel Thurman. He attended Latta schools.

He married Macalyen Green and later divorced. She was the mother of his children. Mr. Thurman was a gardener and landscaper by trade.

Survivors include two sons, David Thurman and Donnie Thurman; two daughters, Debra Thurman of Stratford and Tracie Carter of Ada; a brother, Dennis Thurman of Ada; five grandchildren, Amber Thurman, Taylor Thurman, Tanae Reeves, Tyler Reeves and Jeremy Thurman; 14 great-grandchildren; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; numerous siblings; and a granddaughter, Ashlie Thurman.
