DONALD STEPHENS
ADA-Memorial services for Donald Edwin Stephens, 78, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Stephens died Friday, March 23, 2012 at a local hospital. He was born December 20, 1933 in Union Valley, Oklahoma to Carlee and Ruby Marie Bundy Stephens. He attended Shawnee grade school and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1952. He received a Bachelor's degree in Business from National University, in San Diego, California.
He married Pearl Joan Olsen. She preceded him in death in 2002 in Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Stephens was a civil servant for the U. S. Navy and had served in the U. S. Marines from January 1954 until November 1957. He was affiliated with the Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Stephens of Ada, Linda Bottorff of Ada, and Jill Gutierrez of San Diego, CA; a son, Criss Stephens of San Diego, CA; one brother, Ben Stephens of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Tony Rendon, Kelsey Bottorff, Andrea Rendon, Nicholas Gutierrez, Christopher Bottorff, Renae Rendon, and Noah Gutierrez; and his great grandchildren, Lily Gutierrez, Keely Celeya, and Blake Celeya.
