Donald Louie Jacobs, age 68, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. He was born on October 13, 1957, in Ben Wheeler, Texas, to Rudolph and Catherine (Williams) Jacobs. Donald was a high school graduate and honorably served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked as a self-employed house painter.

Donald lived a full, independent life in Ada, Oklahoma, where he was known for his steady work ethic and dedication to his craft. Though he never married, he shared deep connections with his large family and extended circle of relatives and friends.

He is survived by his brothers, Samuel Quarterman, Rudolph Jacobs and his wife Barbara, Nathaniel Jacobs, and John Jacobs; his sister, Eva Bailey and her husband Willie; and his cousin-sister, Jannice Williams, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Catherine Jacobs, his brother, Gary Meyers, and his sister, Ruthie Gray.

In accordance with his wishes, no formal public services are planned, and cremation arrangements are being handled through Criswell Funeral Home in Ada.
