DON DELOZIER

ADA-Services for Donald D. "Don" Delozier, 73, Ada, are 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church, Revs. Glen Eaves and Frank Trent officiating. Burial follows at Maxwell Cemetery.

Mr. Delozier died on Thursday, January 14, 2010, at his home. He was born August 24, 1936, in Fittstown to Rube Jay and Elsie Agnes Horton Delozier. He lived in this area all his life, and attended Happyland, Irving and Latta schools. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Pontotoc County District #2, retiring with 30 years of service. He loved music and enjoyed all sports, supporting his grandchildren in their sports. Mr. Delozier was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ada and a member of the OGBA Association for 40 years.

He married Shirley Ann Reamy on January 15, 1956, in Ada.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Delozier, of the home; four sons, Arnold Delozier and wife Cheryl, Fayetteville, Arkansas; Donald Delozier Jr. and wife Robin, Davis; Phillip Delozier, of the home; and Greg Delozier, Ada; one daughter, Diana Philips and husband Bill, Norman; two sisters, Patsy Reamy, Davis; and Betty Archer and husband Larry, Ada; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many relatives.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gerry E. Delozier, sister, Helen Bridgeman, his parents, and three brothers, Ellie E. "Babe" Delozier who was killed in the Korean Conflict, Eddie Delozier and R. J. Delozier.

Bearers will be grandsons, Terrell Delozier, Patrick Delozier, Chad Delozier, Derick Philips, Jesse Anderson and Michael Walker. Honorary bearers will be James Reamy, Ramey Reamy, Chris Reamy, Chris Philips, Cody Bridgeman, Jared Westberry, Dale Archer, Robert Turner, Bill Johnson, Raymond Taylor and Sidney Manuel.
