Don Johnson

Services for Hugh Don Johnson, 81, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at a local hospital. He was born January 19, 1939 at Ada to Hugh Frederick and Ovella Sue Jackson Johnson.

He married Betty Ann Fowler September 26, 1959 in Ada. Mr. Johnson was a candy maker and owner of the Ada Candy Company.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, of the home; three children, Sandra Petete and husband Richard of Ada, Randy Johnson and wife Lori, Oklahoma City and Jennifer Johnson, Ada; three grandchildren, Dex Johnson, Miranda Johnson and Lanie Green; and two great-grandchildren, Roland and Alistair Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jo Ann Edwards; and an aunt, Beaulah Stephenson.
