Services for Donald Anthony Anderson, 66, of Stonewall, Oklahoma will be held on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at the Stonewall gymnasium and will be officiated by John D'Aguanno.
Don was also known as "Brother" and "Papa Don." He was a devoted husband, daddy, and Papa. He was a dependable, hard-working, and stand-up citizen of the Stonewall community. He left this world unexpectedly on June 1, 2024, at the age of 66. Don was born on March 22, 1958, in Pampa, TX to John H. Anderson and Katie Walkup. Don lived in Del City until moving to Stonewall, where he lived for the duration of his life.
He worked for BNSF for forty-two years and finished his career in track maintenance department. Don held numerous titles and positions within the company. He was a loyal and passionate mentor to many. Don was also employed part-time with the United States Postal Service as a postal worker, and an entrepreneur, opening a local business and trailer park within the local community.
After retirement, Don enjoyed traveling with his late wife, Lisa, working on his backhoe, spending time with his family, and favorite pup, Marshall.
Survivors include his children: Megan Guinn and husband, Justin, of Bixby; Shayna Stone and husband, Luke, of Stonewall; Danyelle Sanders and husband, Brian, of Mansfield, Texas; and Colton Anderson and wife, Cheyanne, of Lula.
His Bonus children: Christopher Phillips and wife, Krystina, of Fittstown; McKenzie Tipton and husband, Matthew, of Fittstown; Spencer Phillips and partner, JB Bonner, of Ada; additional survivors include: Renee Gay and husband, Jim, of Deep Water, Missouri; and his fourteen grandchildren.
Don was preceded in death by his late wife, Lisa; his father, John H. Anderson; his mother, Katie Anderson; his brother, John E. Anderson; and his nephew, Tyler Gay.
Don will be greatly missed and lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your favorite charity.
