Doc Addison Stokes

Doc Addison Stokes, at the age of 9 years old, peacefully passed from this world on November 28, 2025.

Doc was born on May 17, 2016 to his loving parents Taylor and Alexis Stokes.  At birth he suffered a traumatic brain injury which affected every part of his daily life.  Despite his challenges, Doc was a vivid example of showing up each day with intention, perseverance, and fight.

Doc loved animals of every kind, creating art, cooking in the kitchen with his Momma, and causing trouble with his Daddy.  He carried sass and an orneriness in personality that could bring laughter to friends and strangers alike.  Doc reminded others of the importance of intentional connection and presence.  He will be deeply missed but all can rejoice too that he is no longer in pain.

Doc never liked to be the center of attention.  Upon his request, there will be no service or visitation held.  In honoring his life and legacy, choose prayer and presence.
