DICKIE CLIFFORD

ALLEN-Services for Dickie Ray Clifford, 58, Allen are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church in Allen, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Lula Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. Tuesday until service time at the Allen Chapel.

Mr. Clifford died Saturday, November 22, 2008 near Allen. He was born January 27, 1950 at Ada, Oklahoma to Dillon Raymond "Chock" and Mary Lois Goer Clifford. He attended Tupelo schools and graduated from Tupelo High School in 1968. He was employed with Missouri Pacific, later Union Pacific Railroad as a Track Foreman until his retirement. He was also a rancher. He was a member of the Rocky Point Missionary Baptist Church at Lula.

Survivors include a son, Justin Wayne Clifford, Allen; a daughter, Tiffany Rae Clifford, Lula; his mother, Mrs. Mary Clifford, Ada; four sisters, Maxine Sweat, Stonewall, Marcine Brooks, Lula, Helen Leader, Bowlegs, and Debbie Kendrick, Dallas, TX; three brothers, John Clifford, Stonewall, Donnie Clifford, Ada, and Ronnie Clifford, Ada; four grandchildren, Dawson Matzkvech, Bryce Clifford, Treston Burris, and Madalen Clifford; and an aunt, Louise McCurdy, California.

Bearers will be David Byrd, Jack Goodson, Neil Burris, Justin Smith, Stan Wallace, and Dewayne Gray.
