DIANA SAMPSON
ADA-Services for Diana Lee Sampson, 74, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Oak Avenue Baptist Church, Revs. Ray Talbott and Steve Garner will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sampson died Monday, March 10, 2014 at her home. She was born February 20, 1940 in Ada, Oklahoma to Dolan and Adina Myrtle Hubbert Todd. She attended Ada schools and graduated from Ada High School.
She married Joe Sampson on July 25, 1969. Mrs. Sampson was employed with Gibson's Jewelry Department and later she was the manager of Shoeland and Ray's Shoes in Ada. Mrs. Sampson was an Avon Representative for over 17 years. She was a longtime member of Oak Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Sampson, of the home; a daughter, Robin Jackson and her husband Bill of Ada; three sons, Dobber Bingamon and his wife Dianne of Ada, King Bingamon of Ada, and Jamie Sampson and his wife Katie, of Ada; a sister, Phyllis Estes of Ada; and three grandchildren, Travis Gasaway, Jared Sampson and Justin Sampson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dolan and Adina Todd, and a brother-in-law, Gerald Estes.
