Derrick Manning

Services for Derrick Tyler Manning, 36, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Chad Large will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Manning passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 at his home. He was born December 14, 1987 at Ada, OK to Johnny and Shelley Dennise Leighton Manning.

Mr. Manning was self-employed at Engel Sand Pit in Ada.

Survivors include his wife, Kylie Manning; son, Hunter Manning; three daughters, Caitlin Manning, Dawsyn Manning and Bryndle Manning; his father, John Manning and wife Heather; two brothers, William Blake Harber-Flemming and husband Sam and Christopher Manning; a sister, Heaven Smith and husband Jacob; his grandparents, Kirk and Kay Perry; two uncles, Shawn Moore and Robbie Manning; and aunt, Lacey Young.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shelley Dennise Harber; a second father, Michael Harber; and a son, Brayden Dean Manning.

Derrick loved his children more than life itself. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved weekends in the pool with his kids, playing bass guitar with Shawn, and the Dallas Cowboys. He played football for Ada High. He loved meeting new people, loved his friends, and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
