DENNIS JONES
ADA-Services for Dennis Earl Jones, 61, Ada, are 2:00 P.M. Friday at Faith Assembly of God Church, Rev. Greg Pollard officiating. Burial follows at New Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Jones died on Monday, February 22, 2010, at a local hospital. He was born November 17, 1948, in Floydada, Texas, to Orville Earl and Dorothy Lorene Gorley Jones. He moved to this area in 1984 from Borger, Texas. He was employed as an oil field pumper and later for J. B. Lumber for 10 years. He married Clestine Pierce on December 22, 2002.
Survivors include his wife, Clestine Jones, of the home; two daughters, Tamala Baldwin and husband Ray, Ada; and Stacy Atkins, Lubbock, Texas; two sons, Dewayne Jones, Amesbury, Mass.; and Jason Atkins, Fritch, Texas; two step-daughters, Bobby Stilwell and husband Ricky, Ada; and Janet Neal and husband Jimmy, Ada; his mother, Dorothy Jones, Ada; one brother, Orville Lee Jones, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Janet Haus, Moore; and Carolyn Thompson, Oklahoma City; 12 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters.
Bearers are Travis Boyd, Jimmy Neal, Andrew Moore, Taylor Kerr, Jim Marcum, and Ron Frizzell. Honorary bearers will be Ricky Stilwell and Nick Jones.
