ADA-Services for Delphia Irene Nunley, 91, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jerry Wells and Dr. Rusty Fuller will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Nunley died Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at an Ada assisted living center. She was born February 1, 1923 in Jenks, Oklahoma to Odas H. and Audie Mae Wiggins Mefford.
She married James D. "Josh" Nunley on December 21, 1943. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1997. Mrs. Nunley was a homemaker and a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Kinder and husband Bob of Byng; a son, Al Nunley of Checotah; two sisters, Evelyn Brock of Healdton and Norma Newman of Drumright; one brother, Jim Mefford of Gainesville, TX; and two grandchildren, Robbie Kinder and wife Rhonda of Ada and Debbie Kent and husband David of Knoxville, TN; and 5 great grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Bearers will be her grandsons, great grandsons and Don Sayre.
