DELPHIA GOZA
PONTOTOC-Services for Delphia L. Goza, 76, Pontotoc are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Blue Baptist Church, Revs. Larry Hawkins and Tony Folger will officiate. Burial will follow at Pontotoc Cemetery in Pontotoc. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Goza died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at a Shawnee hospital. She was born September 22, 1934 in Connerville, Oklahoma to Elbert and Gratha Edwards Timmons. She attended school at Connerville.
She married Howard Glenn Goza on October 24, 1969. He preceded her in death April 14, 2007. Mrs. Goza was a seamstress for the Wrangler Company in Ada for 15 years and later the Madill sewing factory for 10 years. She was a member of Blue Baptist Church and the Pontotoc Sr. Citizens Center where she served as treasurer.
Survivors include her four children, Kitty Dunigan and her husband Terry, Fittstown, Mark Goza and his wife Pam, Springer, Sonya Wimberly and her husband Roger, Wynnewood, and Steve Goza and his wife Misti, Ada; seven grandchildren, Randal Dunigan and his wife Amanda, Fittstown, Kristi Sumner and her husband Dustin, Pauls Valley, Cila Martin and her husband Tyler, Fittstown, Dustin Goza, St. George, UT, Colton Wimberly, Wynnewood, Tanner Goza, Ada, and Kinsley Goza, Ada; two great grandchildren, Tana Davis and Tyla Martin; six brothers, Willie Timmons, Pontotoc, Gerald Timmons, Ringling, Richard Timmons and wife Jean, Oklahoma City, Andy Timmons, Pontotoc, Leonard Timmons and wife Jimmie, Pontotoc, and Paul Timmons and wife Ruby, Fittstown; and four sisters, Rhonda Russell, Pontotoc, Genevia Byrd and husband Jackie, Stonewall, Dennia Burke, Oklahoma City, and Louise McClain and husband Paul, Ada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Cody Dunigan, sister, Betty Timmons, sister-in-law, Judy Timmons, and nephew, Brannon Russell.
Bearers will be Randal Dunigan, Colton Wimberly, Earl Russell, Bruce Storts, Matthew Timmons and Michael Timmons. Honorary bearers will be Jay Russell, Danny Timmons, Chuck Timmons and Dustin Goza.
