LEE HENSLEY
ADA- Services for Delbert Leland Hensley, 81, of Ada, were Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Jimmy Hoffman officiated. Graveside interment will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Hensley died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born December 19, 1931 at Weleetka, Oklahoma, to Delbert Hensley and Helen Bernard Hensley. He graduated from the Weleetka High School.
He married Joyce Elaine Robb on August 21, 1987 in California. He owned and operated Hamburger King in Ada, and also owned and operated Aaron Manor Residential Care in Ada. He was also a salesman at Service Chevrolet. He was a member of Homer Baptist Church. He loved horses, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hensley of the home; three sons, Ben Hensley of California, Steve Hensley of California, and Ron Hensley of California; two daughters, Cheryl Hall of Arkansas, and Shelly Alejandre of California, and one step-son, Brian Rasmussen of Pickett, Oklahoma, and one sister, Delberta Kefier of California, 10 grandchildren
Bearers will be his sons, Ben Hensley, Steve Hensley and Ron Hensley. Honorary bearers will be Glen Walker, Dwight Hart, Billy Huffman, Harral Harbin, Kenneth Kirby, and Dewey McDonald.
