DEAN GILLUM

ADA-Services for Barry Dean Gillum, 51, Ada, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Darrell Phillips, Kendall Martin, Perry Gillum and Scott Gillum will officiate. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

Mr. Gillum died Thursday, February 26, 2009, near Konawa. He was born June 12, 1957, at Norfolk, Virginia to Delbert and Christine Bailes Gillum. He attended school in California until 1973 when the family moved to Oklahoma. He graduated from Vanoss High School and attended Blackwood Business College, receiving his real estate license. Mr. Gillum joined his father's Century 21 office and later worked for Deb Gillum Realty.

Survivors include his parents, Deb and Chris Gillum; brother Wayne Gillum and his wife Diane, with sons Tyler Gillum, Thad Gillum and Tee Gillum; brother Gary Gillum, deceased, his wife Julie Gillum, their son, Tildon and his wife Melodie; Tildon's daughters Paris and Paige Gillum with their mother Brooke Gillum. Son, Tagus WayneRay Gillum and wife Kari, had Dean's two grandchildren, Kirby Christine and George Dalton and Tagus' mother Daphne (Butch) Gillum. Daughter Kylee Jo Gillum and son Jesse Wade Gillum and their mother Brenda "B" Gillum. A special friend Tammy Burris. Aunts and uncles Joyce Isaacs, Winnie Bailes, Pat Yarbrough, Douglas and Georgia Bailes, Bill and Laura Gillum, Perry E. and Evelyn Gillum, Ben and Beverly Smith and Don and Carol Gillum. Numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Gillum.

Bearers and honorary friends will be Wayne Gillum, Jesse Gillum, Tildon Gillum, Perry Don Gillum, Keith Isaacs, William Griffiths, Billy Don Wainscott, Leath Jones, Ronnie James, Mitchell Priest, Bull Simmons, Todd Byrd, Dan Farmer, Brent Smith and Bryan Smith.
