DAVID TAYLOR
ADA-Memorial services for David Lynn Taylor, 57, Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Friday at Cornerstone Church in Ada, Rev. John Mayhue will officiate.
Mr. Taylor died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at a local hospital. He was born April 12, 1952 in Seminole, Texas to Bobby Jack and Dorothy Stills Taylor. He graduated from Ada High School and received a Bachelors and Masters degree from East Central University.
He married Jeanene Chambers on October 22, 1994 at Lake Texoma. Mr. Taylor was a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Oklahoma retiring in 2003. He was a member of Cornerstone Church, formerly a member of Southwest Church of Christ and was active with the Ada United Way.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanene Taylor, of the home; two sons, Andy Taylor, Tulsa and Evan Taylor and wife Deanna, Tulsa; one daughter, Kayleigh Taylor, of the home; two step-daughters, Shanna Lewis and husband Mike, Mustang, and Heather Orman and husband Frank, Yukon; four grandchildren, Kalie Orman, Yukon, Thomas and Jared Lewis, Mustang, and Dexter Taylor, Tulsa; and a step-sister, Cathy Hennessey, Ada.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Thelma Taylor, two brothers, Danny Lane Taylor and Jackie Don Taylor, and a step-sister, Sue Ellon Day.
